How to Get Rid of Sensitivity
Getting rid of sensitivity can be a selfish and daunting task. There are a few steps needed to accomplish this goal which consist of; Caring solely about ones self and well being, distancing ones self from any situation that may envoke this emotion, followed up with slowly and methodically removing any sense of true attatchment from another person or being.
The first step is a difficult one for some to master, as humans tend to have a sense or need to care about someone or something other than themselves. This is easy to accomplish, as it changes the focus from individual flaws and problems to someone or something elses’ needs or wants. The only way someone can ever truly remove the sensitivity in their lives is to focus on the issues you have in your life without a care in the world about anyone else. Second, you must distance yourself from any situation that would require you to envoke the emotion. This could be anywhere including places where children are, certain dating websites, often television shows, and more frequently places where small or malnurished animals are displayed.
Third and finally one must remove personal attatchment from all situations. Being cold, and unemotional can be exceptionally beneficial in situations where some sensitivity may creep in. Partners in life can be a strong attachment that either needs to be blocked permanently, or avoided all together.
Another time honored tip in this situation can be to lose any and all ties to friends, relatives, and being lonely in general. This will not only help you sustain your goal, but also will show the flaws described in step one. After all of these steps are complete not only will you lose the sensitivity in your life, but you will also show people a strong and unfallable front. This will help you in many situations where business decisions are required without any emotional bind. This can increase your financial well being, and promote a strong, unbreakable self. There are some down falls to this approach in that you may be lonely for long periods of time, and at some point where you do want to bring the sensitivity back into your life it can be difficult and a long process.
