Even those the de-worming drugs like Niclocide and Biltricide seem to be very effective, most experts say that they aren’t 100 percent effective. The best countermeasure for tapeworms is just to stay clear of them in the first place. Make sure your food is well cooked and that none of your pets in your home have the condition either.

If none of these methods work out for you, your best bet is going to be to just throw in the towel and finally call your dreaded doctor. Your doctor will be able to help you best anyways, and it’s always a good idea to see your doctor even after you think you have rid yourself of the problem.

The good news is that tapeworm rarely kills human beings. Rarely doesn’t mean never though, so it’s always a good idea to take measure to insure that you don’t get tapeworm and that if you do you get rid of it as soon as possible.
