The spots can vary in size and shade, which makes them different from freckles. The best way to prevent age spots is to avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen. Glasses do a lot to change a person’s face, and in some cases, they can be associated with a “nerdy” or “smart” look – and that’s not something that everyone wanted to be associated with. There are things you can do to strengthen your eyes and there are things you can utilize as an alternative to glasses &#8211; they’re all detailed below:</p>
<p><strong>Don’t Make Your Eyes Worse</strong></p>
<p>Pun intended, hindsight is 20/20! If you could go back and eliminate all the bad habits that were hurting your eyes over time, I’m sure you would. But alas, we must deal with the present – so eliminate the following habits that are proven to be detrimental to the health of your eyes: smoking, starting at computer or tv screen for extending periods of time, reading in the dark and not protecting your eyes from the sun.</p>
<p><strong>How to Strengthen Your Eyes with Proper Diet</strong></p>
<p>If you already have a need for glasses, focusing your diet to make your eyes healthier will only go so far. While some foods are proven to help fight off diseases of the eye and degeneration of the eye muscles in general, there’s no proof that they can actually make people with poor vision see better. That being said, a proper diet can help prevent future worsening of your eyes and may help you from ever getting glasses in the first place.</p>
<p>The primary nutrients that your eyes need to stay healthy are found in Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E and in protein. This means you need to ensure you’re getting the daily-recommended intake of these 3 essential nutrients in order to keep and maintain healthy eyes. Now I consider myself an absolute contact pro – I can put them in and out in less than 30 seconds. The freedom of being able to see without glasses and not having to clean off your glasses several times a day is well worth getting over the fear of “putting something in your eye”!</p>
<p><strong>Laser Surgery (LASIK)</strong></p>
<p>LASIK surgery is all the rave nowadays to correct poor vision. The benefit of LASIK surgery is that your eyes will be given close to perfect vision, completely eliminating the need for contact lenses or glasses. The surgery can correct all types of vision problems, including astigmatism, nearsightedness and farsightedness. It works by using a laser to change the shape of your cornea, allowing it to better focus on the retina and enhance your vision.</p>
<p>The surgery itself has very minimal risks or side effects, and thousands of successful surgeries are done every day throughout the world. However, as with any surgery, there is always some risk – that’s something you need to keep in mind before proceeding. Flattened hair, hair dents, and overall, just terrible-looking hair can be symptoms of hat hair, also known as hat head.</p>
<p><strong>Avoiding Hat Hair and Continuing to Wear a Hat</strong></p>
<p>Most people get frustrated when dealing with hat head because they want to keep wearing their hat, and they thing not wearing it is the only way to get rid of hat head. Not true! This kind of thinking actually causes people to wear their hats <em>all</em> the time so as to not show off their disheveled looking head of hair, thus making the problem worse.</p>

<p><strong>Hair Conditioner</strong></p>
<p>Conditioner is your friend. It moisturizes your hair and scalp and makes for thicker, healthier hair by giving it the proper hydration and nutrients it needs. It&#8217;s not just for women! Lots of guys I know don&#8217;t use conditioner because they think it&#8217;s only for women; well, it&#8217;s not. And if you&#8217;re not using it, you, and your hair, are missing out.</p>

<p>These types of hair styling products will naturally mat down your hair and keep it in the shape that you style it in. Imagine laying this stuff on your hair, then throwing a hat on top. It can still style your hair without overtly changing the natural shape of your hair or the direction in which it flows.</p>

<h2>1. Breastfeed That Baby!</h2>
<p>Breastfeed that beautiful baby of yours! I know, I sound like your O.B., midwife and nurses. But from a weight-loss standpoint, the average breastfeeding mother burns an extra 500 calories a day. This doesn’t mean you can continue to eat for two, but you can count on that calorie burning help when it comes to your goal. Just be for warned; when you do switch your baby to formula, be sure to cut your calorie intake or exercise more, or you will notice a bit of a weight backlash.</p>

<p>Another way to rocket your way back to those skinny jeans is to exercise with your baby. You’re attached at the hip anyway, so why not use your little one to assist you in achieving your goal? You can also do this in a group setting by joining stroller strides or a mommy and me group.</p>

The biggest mistake you can make is following the latest diet craze. Just eat fresh, homemade meals with a lot of variety and omit fast-foods, added sugars, and processed foods.
