If you are strapped for cash every month and need to eliminate some expenses, you may be wondering how to get rid of child support. There are a few options open to you that may be helpful in enabling you to rid yourself of paying support or at least reduce what you are paying each month so that you will not be under a financial strain. Ridding yourself completely of paying child support is not an easy thing to do.

File an Order with the State

If you were assigned the necessity of paying child support through the State, you may want to file an Order with the State to stop child support or at least have it reduced. You may be having financial difficulties and can no longer pay the amount that you had been paying previously. This should be stated in the Order.

Child Support Will Stop if Step Parent Adopts

If your spouse has remarried and the child is adopted by the stepparent, this would stop your obligation to pay child support. Of course, this option hinges on the stepparent and whether there is a willingness to adopt the child in question. It does not have to be the stepparent who adopts, it can be another individual who would like to take over the responsibility of raising and supporting the child.

Child Support Stops Automatically when the Child is of Legal Age

When the child reaches legal age and can support him or herself, you will no longer be obligated to pay child support.

Hire a Family Law Attorney

If you hire an attorney who specializes in family law and explain your situation to him or her, you may be able to have your child support terminated or reduced in amount. An attorney knows all of the legalities that are involved in paying child support and will know what steps need to be taken in order to terminate your payment of child support. Even a reduction in payment each month would probably be of great assistance to you if financial problems have occurred.

Filing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Can Help With Back Payments

If you have fallen behind on support payments, filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy may help you to catch up with your debt. Though this is not actually getting rid of child support, it is a way of helping you to catch up with your payments so that you will not find yourself so much in debt. An attorney will work with you and reorganize all of your financial obligations by creating a payment plan for you. In this way, you will be able to more easily make the payments that are necessary and get your head above water. This will not only help with child support payments but also with any other debts you may have.

Solicitors seem to come knocking at the worst of times. During dinner, when you’re on the phone, hanging out with friends – it never fails. They’re almost always looking to sell you something or trying to get you to sign up/join some sort of cause. Nowadays, solicitors are typically trying to sell you magazine/newspaper subscriptions or some sort of “as seen on tv” or fad product. With the advent of the internet, the heyday of the traveling salesman has all but passed, but that doesn’t mean the occasional solicitation won’t pop up to ruin your day! Here are 2 simple and effective ways to prevent and get rid of solicitors for good:

Use a Sign

Hanging some sort of sign in front of your door or property can do wonders to turn solicitors right back where they came from. This can be something as simple as “No Solicitors Allowed” or can be something more witty like “If you try to sell me something, my dog will kill you”. You can even go with something like “Warning: All Solicitors Will Be Shot”. That may be a little over the top, but who can be bothered by these pesky solicitors, anyway? After all, it’s your property and you’re entitled to your privacy.

Talk to Them

Without a sign, there’s really no way you’re going to stop a solicitor from knocking on your door. They come in all shapes and sizes, so don’t be caught off guard. You’ll need to take the same stance with a child selling girl scout cookies as with a pushy, balding salesman trying to sell you a vacuum cleaner.

Don’t get into exchanging pleasantries with the solicitor. They’ll often greet you with a typical “Hi, how are you today?” Don’t answer them. This is their first step to try and build rapport and get some sort of connection going between the two of you. Firmly tell them you’re not interested in whatever they’re selling and that you don’t like to have solicitors on your property. Of course, if this is a little girl selling girl scout cookies, you may need to use a bit simpler of language, but keep a firm tone and make it short and sweet. They’ll likely come back at you with some sort of rebuttal, as no salesman should take no for an answer the first time. Tell them you’re not interested one more time, then shut the door in their face – they’ll get the point.

This solution seems simple enough, but all too often people make the mistake of hearing the solicitor out. By allowing them to tell you their story and about their product(s) or whatever they’re selling, you’re allowing yourself to be sold. Don’t go down this path, just get rid of them promptly.

<img src="/wp-content/themes/mimbo/images/blonde-woman.jpg" alt=blonde woman"" class="img-right" />Throughout your life, you will develop crushes on people, at first, these crushes might seem fun and exciting, but sometimes they can get out of hand. These crushes can lead to the point where you are miserable or even depressed because you are obsessing over this person and they may not even know you exist, or they do and they don’t want to be a part of your life. There are some things you can do however to help yourself get rid of a crush and to move on with your life.

The Truth

You have to look within yourself and realize that this crush is just that, a crush, it isn’t love. Many times people can the feelings for being the same thing, but they really aren’t. You have to come to the realization that this crush isn’t real so that you can free yourself up emotionally and just move on.

Remove the Problem

Many people, once they have a crush, start listening to songs or movies that help them think of that person, some even go as far as carrying a picture of the person around. You need to rid yourself of these problems, get rid of their picture, stop listening to songs that make you think of your crush, do everything you can so you completely forget them.

Live Your Life

One of the best things you can do to help yourself get rid of a crush, is to start doing things to take your mind away from it. This step is something you can do in many different situations to help you take your mind off of problems, but it works very well when getting rid of a crush. So get out and enjoy time with friends and family, do everything you can to get your mind off your crush.

Getting Over Feelings

The last thing you can do is realize that these feelings will start to fade away. They won’t last forever and once you realize that you can start to let go even easier. Distance yourself as much as you can from the problem and sooner or later you will completely forget the crush.

Everyone in his or her life goes through the problem of having a crush at least once. You have to take the experience as a learning experience and learn how to get over them, or the problem will continue to haunt you.

An amorous attraction towards the opposite sex or another person is natural. There are signs between two people that somehow lead them into a relationship. It may start out as platonic at first then in most cases can lead to an intimate and sexual encounter. Sex is a very big step in a relationship and it should always be looked at and treated with respect. In extreme cases it can lead to lust, which is an intense craving for sex. This can be good and bad for a relationship. If a partner is lustful then it is consensual. If your lust is to the point where your partner does not oblige, it can become a serious problem.
[sniplet AdSense Skyscraper]
A mutual relationship is one where both parties connect in all facets of life. Sex is a part of it and lust is a part of any sexual being. The thing is if that lust becomes too intense and somebody in the relationship does not give in, there could be a huge problem. One partner might be wanting to have sex and the other doesn’t. That lustful desire, if not under control, can bring on unwanted advances and in the worst cases could lead to rape. Lust is natural, especially when it comes to sex. The thing of it is is being able to control that constant desire. If it is a serious problem, you can work with a therapist who can work with you on being able to rid yourself of your problem.

Being able to get rid of lust takes a lot of discipline and desire. It doesn’t mean that you have to exactly cut sex out of your life but if it is a problem that is affecting your relationship it needs to be dealt with in the proper manner. Professional counseling is definitely the first step that you should take. They will be able to work with you and teach you ways in controlling yourself. They will be able to diagnose if you have a problem or not. They will be able to teach you and your partner ways to have intimate relations and not have it all being about strictly sex. Most cases, that is the basis of lust. You are just worrying about sex for the sake of sex, worried about yourself and not if your partner is satisfied. A counselor will help you deal with the relationship part of sex and not the simple lustful part of sex.

Being able to rid ones self of lust takes a lot of determination and help. If you think that you have a serious problem, consult with a physician or counselor. You will find out that sex will be detrimental to your relationship and not all about satisfying ones self.

Having a guilty conscience is not fun if you have a conscience at all. Some people go through life with no conscience about what they do and cover it up with lies after lies until one day they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar. I’m sure you are not one of them so, here some tips to get rid of a guilty conscience.

Think about what you have done wrong, although it may not be easy, confess to your wrong doing and take your just punishment whether it be a slap on the hand or time in the pokey. Although the consequences may not be what you want your conscience will be clear to not make the same mistake again. Depending on the offense decide if confessing is worth clearing your conscience.
[sniplet AdSense Skyscraper]
Take a vacation, regardless of what you have done wrong, a vacation always seems to clear the mind and conscience. Enjoy yourself on your vacation and try not to think about what you did to feel guilty about. Feeling guilty about anything is not fun and there are distractions to prolong the suffering of any added guilt.

Talk to a priest and go to confession, tell them everything that you have done wrong that you can remember and say 10 Hail Mary’s and hope that lightning doesn’t strike you. If you are going to lengths to see a priest then you more than likely have a guilty conscience and probably didn’t do any thing that bad. There are other things you can do as well, take up a new hobby to get your mind off of it or buy something like a new toy.

On a more serious not, having a guilty conscience is not a good thing to have, it can cause despair, depression and a number of other psychological issues. If you are having a guilty conscience about just about everything you do then you may need some professional advice. If your conscience eats you up and you find yourself dwelling on every little issue then you should probably get help.

If all else fails reevaluate your life and what you expect, why things aren’t working and why you do things to feel guilty about. No one wants to feel guilty about anything they have done, many people go through life doing wrong and feel nothing of it, the fact that you or anyone has a guilty conscience means you feel and there is hope after all.

Every business has one at one time or another: A Problem Employee. A problem employee doesn’t appear out of no where. Actually, the best recourse is to try to uncover future problems with a prospective employee during the interview process. Usually, asking certain questions during an interview helps uncover the potential problem employee. In the interview, note any body language that appears negative to interview questions asked.

But, what if the problem employee is expert at hiding their flaws during the interview? A lot of companies choose set up a employment terms that include a 90-probationary period, in writing. The probationary contract allows an employer to define terms of the 90-day work arrangement and helps stabilize any benefits that may be offered after the 90-day period ends. One of the most beneficial features of this plan is that the employer can judge inter-relationships between new hires and other employees. It also identifies any personality problems that appear in this time frame.
[sniplet AdSense Skyscraper]
Should the newly hired employee exhibit negative tendencies that may become potential problems, there are several recourse’s to consider:

1. Prepare an informal employee performance appraisal
2. Discuss with the performance appraisal results with the employee
3. Tie the performance appraisal to any performance increases or benefits

If the employee continues a pattern of behavior that indicates a common problem that interferes with work flow or productivity, it may be necessary to submit a disciplinary warning. If the problem employee ignores this written warning, it should be followed up by a verbal warning, complete with reasons for the disciplinary actions and ultimate penalty, loss of employment. If after the verbal warning, the problem employee makes no changes to their behavior, the only avenue is to officially terminate the problem employee as a last resort. Terminating employees in some cases should be done with proper documentation to avoid future legal liability. Copies of documentation stating the case for termination should be provided to the problem employee. Providing such documentation becomes a matter of record for the company and make it difficult for the problem employee to dispute should that situation arise. Getting rid of a problem employee should be viewed by the employer as a constructive and healthy means to preserving good business policy and practices. Thus, getting rid of a problem employee comes down to:

A written disciplinary warning

A verbal disciplinary warning

Documented termination of employment

There are a few things in this world that can ruin a relaxing night at home. There are the events such as a neighbor interrupting dinner to invite themselves over for a game of cards, your daughter or son setting off the fire alarm while attempting to bake a cake, or even the dog getting sick from getting into yesterday’s garbage. These events are irritating, but no event can compete with getting a prank call. Getting rid of a prank caller can seem impossible, but by looking into how to “block” a caller, being creative with how you reply to the caller, and knowing when to inform the police will ensure that the prank calls will come to an end.

Block the Phone Number

To guarantee that the caller will not call again, it is important to have the phone number blocked. Find the customer service phone number on the phone bill. Designate an hour during your day to speak with your phone bill company to see if they can provide the phone number of the prank caller. Most phone companies are able to block phone numbers from calling you again for free or a small fee. If kids are the prank callers, you can do reverse look up on internet sites to find out the address that belongs to the phone number. Once you do this you will be able to mail a letter to the parents of the children pranksters, or call the parents in hopes for them to discipline their children into not prank calling your home again.

Reply Creatively

In some situations prank callers are just trying to get a reaction out of people and are just being silly. Some of the most recognizable silly prank calls are asking “Is your refrigerator running?” after you saying yes, the follow up being “well you better go catch it!”. To stop get rid of this type of prank caller, you may say something such as “Actually no, my refrigerator is not running, it broke yesterday, were you the one who broke it?!”. This will take the caller by surprise, and they will probably hang up and not call you again. If a prank caller is calling you in a silly voice, the best way to get rid of this prank caller is to answer their questions in a serious tone, and inquire on the subject of the conversation. They will be surprised that you are interested and will most likely hang up realizing that they have failed.

Inform the Police

Not all prank calls are silly and lighthearted. Some prank calls are scary and threatening. If you are ever in a situation where a prank caller is making you feel unsafe in your home, you should inform the police immediately. Remember to write down everything that the prank caller says to you on the phone, document the date and time, and try to obtain the phone number from your phone company. If the phone number is viewed as “Unavailable” or “Private’ then you may decide to change your phone number permanently after contacting the police. Do not try to argue with the threatening prank caller, or continue to talk to them once you realize that the caller is attempting to antagonize you. How to get rid of a prank caller in a threatening situation can be difficult but with persistence and involving the police will mostly result in a positive outcome.

Whether you are dealing with neighborhood children interrupting your evening with a silly joke, or a person threatening you it is important to block the phone number, be creative with how you reply to the caller, and know when to inform the police of the antagonizing situation. With these steps taken, getting rid of a prank caller will be a much easier question for you to answer when put in this situation.

Have you ever had unwanted guests in your home and you did not know how to get rid of them? Here are some tips on how to get rid of unwanted house guests from your home:

Whatever You Do…Don’t Be Rude

The first tip is to not get mad or be rude towards your house guests; just subtly mention that you have a busy work week or schedule coming up and that you need to go to bed early. Most people will get the hint and understand that they have overstayed their welcome. You will be surprised at how receptive people are; so being patient can have its rewards.

Start Tidying Up

The second tip is to begin cleaning up the food and dirty dishes that are around; this will show your house guests that the night is winding down.

Time is on Your Side

The third tip is to mention how late it is getting; you should mention that your house guests better get going because it is dark out and the commute is dangerous late at night. Many people do not like driving late at night because they can become tired and veer off the road. You can show concern for their safety while also attempting to get them to leave your home; so it is a win-win situation.

Mention Other Plans

The fourth tip is to say that you have family coming to stay with you if you have house guests that have been staying for you for an extended period of time.

Be Direct with Your Guests

The fifth tip is to just be very direct and explain the situation to your house guests. It is your home and if you want people to leave your home then you need to make your wishes known. You should not be mean or disrespectful because that would be ill mannered of you. Just explain that you want some alone time with your family and that you enjoyed their stay but you just need some space. Being very direct while being respectful at the same time will allow you to get faster results.

Having people either live in your home or visit your home can be a very overwhelming experience because most people value their privacy. If you are going to entertain for dinner it is best to send out an invitation and outline the time that it will start and end. If you have house guests that are staying with you then make sure that their stay is not an extended period of time. This way everyone is on the same page and you will feel better about the situation and not have to get rid of unwanted house guests.

If you are reading this article, you probably know that annoying roommates can ruin everything from sleep to studies, and even the overall quality of your life. Depending on the types of annoying things your roommates are doing, there may be a few different things you can do to get rid of them.

Before you get set in your mind that you are going to get rid of your annoying roommate(s), you should sit down and try to figure out whether or not their personality is what is irritating you or if they are just doing specific things that grate on your nerves. If you find out that their personality just clashes with yours, you should proceed to the nenext ideas, but if you notice that they are just doing certain things that are annoying, a simple talk to point out the annoyance may do the trick. Oftentimes people don’t realize that what they are doing is annoying or offensive to people and making them aware of things may just be enough to make them stop acting annoying altogether.

If your roommate(s) are doing things that are illegal, the best thing for you to do is call the police. This may not only get rid of your roommate(s) temporarily but will also safeguard you from being remotely involved in any illegal activities as well.

If you are renting your apartment or house and your name is on the lease, you may be able to evict your roommate(s). If they are doing things in violation of the lease and you can find proof of these violations, you can bring your proof to the landlord and they will help you take the appropriate actions to get rid of them.

Remember that old saying “fight fire with fire”? This could be one of the best ways to get rid of your annoying roommate(s), and may even give you some satisfaction in the process. Try to be as irritating as possible, especially if you can do the exact same things that are annoying them. They may not think the things they are doing are annoying while they are doing them, but when someone else is doing them it may be a whole other story.

Whatever you do to get rid of your annoying roommate(s), make sure that none of the things you try are illegal or harmful to anybody in any way. Try to keep calm and you may just find that it is easier than you think to cure the problem of annoying roommate(s).

Avoiding the water cooler may be one way to get rid of annoying co-workers, but it won’t be that effective in the long run. Besides, you might get mighty thirsty in the process. There are other ways to better the workplace so consider these techniques for how to get rid of annoying co-workers.

Confront the co-worker right off the bat. Don’t let the problems fester. Don’t give the office gossip the opportunity to destroy your reputation. Instead, go to your colleague and say something like “you have been bothering me and affecting my work for weeks now. Please stop it.” Don’t beat around the bush. Be specific about how this co-worker has been affecting you. Give precise guidelines for how this person can improve his behavior.

Another way to get rid of an annoying co-worker is to befriend her. This might be a difficult and tough step for you, but often times the people who annoy us do so with character traits or habits that are similar to ours, traits that we dislike about ourselves. For example, being to work on time is vital in most job contexts. Talking behind someone’s back is typical in many office settings. Are the issues that annoy you in someone else the same issues you struggle with? If so, take a long hard look at yourself first.

Invite your co-worker to make the same changes you would like to make in yourself. Make it a special project and seek to build a friendship. The worst case scenario is that you’ll make huge changes in yourself and your co-worker will be bored with your plan and never bother you again. Beat the annoyer with a dose of genuine friendship. Maybe you’ll gain a friend for life.

If neither of those steps is effective in getting rid of an annoying co-worker, it is time to involve your supervisor, and possibly the supervisor of the annoying colleague. Tell her exactly why this co-worker is so annoying, what you’ve tried to correct the problem, and other suggestions you might have. Ask your supervisor if there is something else you can try, fresh ideas. Perhaps there are core values in your company that come into play in the situation.

In the process, you’ll likely be showing your supervisor that you are committed to company values. Getting rid of annoying co-workers can be an amazing and genuine positive step in your own career.
